Had its ups and downs...

Very clearly inspired by .Hack, but not a bad imitation. The art and animation were pretty good, and I did like Alpha by the end of it. The voice actor did a very good job and I'm curious to see what's done with the character. Having people slide onto the screen to cover their background selves when they speak was a little irritating, but eventually I accepted it since it was an ode to the genre and everything. A lot of the characters seemed pretty one-dimensional though. It's like you wrote a single sentence to describe each one and then catered their every action around that theme. Coupled with the extreme voices that you gave most characters, this made some of the characters mildly annoying (like the guy who needs to swear for no apparent reason) and turned others into unbearably irritating Scrappies (Rockoon, Kirbopher, Nylock). Despite the fact that I'm strongly hoping for half of the cast to die painful deaths in the first ten seconds of the next flash, this series does look like it has some potential. I'll be keeping an eye out for the next one. Keep up the good work.

Kirbopher responds:

Thanks for taking the time, although I'm now endlessly pondering the meaning of the word "scrappies".

You seem to be really popular...

That's the only logic I can come up with to justify the score this flash is getting right now. Don't get me wrong, the art is solid and the animation is decent, but let's be serious here, the entire pun of this flash is summed up in the title. This would make a funny picture if you showed them looking at that cat and added a caption, but it seems like you took that single funny line and tried to stretch it into a full flash but fell tragically short in the process.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

...pun?

Weird...

Apparently half the reviewers don't understand the concept of cutting or dying hair. For those of us that DO live in the 21st century where traditional Pico can change his hair to look like your Pico in about an hour, it's no big deal. It blatantly says in the author's comments that you changed Pico's appearance, but sadly people are too stupid to pick up on that.

I was pretty thoroughly grossed out by the parts of this flash that included shit, but other than that I thought this was very well done. Keep up the good work and don't let dumb reviews get you down.

ryan-pujado11 responds:

tnx..im working on it fixing some unlike stuff of the movie..but man your a blessing XD!

Awesome.

The other guy is wrong, the vibrant colors are great and work together flawlessly. I thought this was really good for what it was, though I wish it could have been longer and had a little more plot than a man pulling a catapult out of nowhere. I don't know if I would consider this "an addicting and enjoyable game" like Leadersy, but it's definitely a great flash.

WhiteLightning responds:

It is a bit short, but it was tailored specifically for this song, so I had to make due with the space I had. Glad you liked it :)

Well...

I can't get the curtain to open no matter how much I click. And you must have foolishly added frames to prevent people from right-clicking and choosing play, cause that doesn't work either. I think you need to get a firmer grasp on programming.

MFRS responds:

that is weird, cause i have tried and it worked. Thanks for letting me know of that error. I will fix it as soon as possible

Good, but mistitled.

The art is awesome and the voice acting is really solid and top quality, however this doesn't really fit in with the other Marvel Vs Capcom parodies that focus on one character so it seems an odd choice to use the title scheme/ loading screen/ ending of the others. Plus this seems to be 3/4ths about Morrigan with Dante's role a mere cameo of a few seconds in the beginning. If you really did feel the need to follow in the others' footsteps you should have called this MvC3: Morrigan. I don't like being lied to and mislead, so you lose points for that, but otherwise this was a pretty solid flash. Well done.

redminus responds:

Who's Morrigan?

Hmm...

Good practice I suppose, but if you stick to tracing videos you'll never truly shine. My advice is to try your luck at pulling the images straight from your head. Only then will you really know where your talent stands.

Eightsquare responds:

thanks for the opinion, but i rotoscoped this video to make the character resonate as more real compared to some of the stuff arround him.

next animation i have planned will have no rotoscoping though (it kills my hands)...

Hmm...

As a rule of thumb, if your flash is less than thirty seconds long, contains a cutout photo of someone's head, or is based solely around the idea of "a lot of people hate this person so I want to show that I fit in" without any wit or effort put behind it then you probably need to go back to the drawing board. In this case you've hit all 3, and you can't even tell what the one speaking part in this flash is saying.

However, as an experiment to prove that if your theme is "Die Justin Bieber" you need absolutely no skill or talent to make a flash movie and have it pass judgement you have succeeded. Kudos.

madwalrus responds:

Err, ok, I was just pissing about. I'm not exactly entering it to any festivals. Also I don't want to 'just fit in', that totally isn't what I was thinking and not what I'm about. He just gets on my tits.
But thankyou, for your rather condescending review. I presume your stuff is really excellent to make such judgements on others.
Love, Wally the Walrus xxx

So...

At first I was unimpressed with the art and disappointed that there was no voicework (silent flashes usually aren't my cup of tea), but having watched the whole thing I now really really like this flash. It was an interesting little tale and you saw it through. I applaud that. Hope to see more by you soon.

savage011 responds:

thanks blessing, im happy that you gave my flash a chance.

Be a blessing to others and you will be blessed.
