I like the way the credits were animated. The rest of the flash made absolutely no sense and was too random to be funny or entertaining. Sorry.

I was actually enjoying this until the Uncle Ben's joke. Everyone's seen that all over the internet already and it's not helped by the fact that you didn't even work that joke in smoothly. You forced it in there hard without any care for how it would affect the viewer's experience. For that I really just can't look at you right now.

wynand responds:

Awwww I'm sorry, please forgive me. Your right though, I didn't put enough focus on the actual writing part =S.... although it was in there from the start time restraints and a hard drive crash forced me to cut things short. What you see is me tying things together haha =3

The animation isn't terrible, but there's not much to it. It's really short, and all the hits that actually connect don't seem to do any damage. The person on the receiving end makes a face for a moment, "oh my gosh, you hit me!", and then the fight resumes. On top of that, no one says anything. There's no plot development. Just like 20 or so seconds of battle. The art's pretty good, but overall I'm glad you got this out of your system cause it doesn't seem like something that would be entertaining to watch any further.

I can't tell if the thing wearing the goggles is a dude or a chick.

The audio could use some improvement, but the animation was pretty good. Except the repetitive twitching of the madness guy, that was very noticeable and distracting. This shows some serious promise. Keep at it.

Informant responds:

yeah I got a little bit fed up with the scene with the monsters in it.. >_<
thanks :)

This was kinda cool. I don't see how the characters really compare when Sonic's whole deal is super speed and Rainbow Dash is just "above average" fast, but it was still sort of entertaining.

Here's what I liked:
-The art was decent.
-Many characters made appearances.
-This flash had good length to it.
-The music worked well with it.
-The sound effects were good.
-Rainbow Dash's audio was good.

Here's what I didn't like:
-A lot of the poses were pretty stiff and unnatural.
-Sonic's audio was really bad.
-The lines were cheesy.
-The flash wasn't funny which is what I assume you were going for.
-Spike, the only non-irritating MLP character, was absent.
-The ending was predictable.
-Your author's comments telling people they should go kill themselves was surprisingly dickish.

I was a little disappointed that he didn't scream Demacia in the end. This wasn't what I expected to see based on the description, but it was still pretty cool. This was probably about as good as a stick movie can get. You seem to have some real skills. You should try your hand at animating something that isn't sticks, I bet it would be really good!

Eh... It could have been worse. Judging by your author's comments you hate it and think it's a failure so it's okay for me to hate it and think it's a failure too (i think we can all agree that those people who whine about how crappy their craptastic craps are in hopes that someone will tell them they're wrong are really pathetic). Your art was decent and your animation is at least average, but I can definitely see why you didn't like it. The audio was pretty bad and it wasn't funny. The summary text thing even said something about Link holding the B button too long, which was extremely misleading since he only held it long enough to achieve what he needed to. The sound at the end was really confusing and distracting, making it seem like the flash had messed up at first (I watched the flash before reading your comments, which, by the way, your comments put me in the mindset to hate the flash since you basically talked me out of recognizing any positive qualities it had). It's true that this isn't the worst thing I've seen, but it could have been much better. It's nothing original, and when I look at it from the perspective you seem to be looking at it, it's really just not a good flash. Keep at it though, you'll get better eventually.

Dieseling responds:

Thank you very much for the critique, honestly if I couldn't handle it I shouldn't be posting it online for others to judge right;)

I didn't say it was bad for self pity and for others to say "Oh this wasn't that bad" but I really did feel that it was an awful project. That being said I can completely agree with you on the fact that this should be kept from the viewers as it would change their opinion on the video.

Again thank you for the harsh critique, it allows me to see what the worst is by bringing it up in front of the good stuff (if that makes sense). Now I can only improve from this:)

This must have been hard to create. The lines are so witty, but pale in comparison to how incredible the animation is. I can only imagine the months you've spent working on this.

Fantishow responds:

I'll admit, some of the special effects were hard on the budget, but I think we pulled through with something for everyone to enjoy. A bit of humor, drama, and romance, all of which had lots of time and effort put into them. It's good to see such a helpful, encouraging review of such a labor of love.

Um... Well... This video did have its good points, but I feel that this video and this song should not have come together.

Here's what I liked:
-The animation was pretty good. You are a talented animator.
-The art was decent.
-You handle different styles well. I'm not a fan of random style switches like that, but you drew what you set out to draw well.

Here's what I didn't like:
-The song. It's extremely random with a whiny voice and no real structure. It's the kind of thing you'd strum out while sitting around with a small group of friends, but not the kind of thing worthy of being recorded and put on the interwebz unless you're fully prepared for the kind of ridicule I'm giving your right now. This song gives amazing blowjobs, figuratively speaking.
-The disconnect between the video and the song. Pretty much everything beyond the lines about being a pea didn't relate much to what was in the video.
-Everything between green guy and livingpenisheadman. The pea runs into him so he gets mad, then comes a large section of video that you tried to sync up to some really random and repetitive lines. Why does the bully bother to sit there and listen to the green thing whine for so long without physically assaulting him further or leaving? Why doesn't the green thing fight back if he can bulk up to insane muscle size at will? Why do they shift back and forth between angry face and sex eyes 72 times while the green guy repeats the same lines? You should have switched scenes or characters or something because that whole scene got really weird and confusing, which wasn't helped by the whiny eunuch supplying the voice.

You have talent as an animator, but poor taste in music and some unusual writing prevent me from enjoying this flash much.

inkbyte responds:

Whoa that's a long response! Here's the "short" answer: The song "Pea" is by the Red Hot Chili Peppers from their album "One Hot Minute" made in 1995. This video was more of a tribute to the song and an exercise on random animation. As for the Lil' Pea and "livingpenisheadman" (lol), have you heard of "fighting without fighting"? You don't have to fight to win. :)

It would be mean of me to sugar coat it. You'll never learn anything if I just lie and say this was great.

The truth is, this was horribly random.

First, I'm not sure why you had to involve Toph in this at all. She and Korra aren't young at the same time, as a Korra fan I figured you knew that. That aside though, she didn't DO anything. She got beat up. If it was supposed to be the reason they were fighting, why did Vegeta attack Toph? Why are they in the same world? How are Korra and Toph both that age? Why is Korra in the middle of nowhere alone with Toph and Vegeta? There's a lot you didn't explain, so you might as well go all the way and just have it be "we're fighting for no reason".

Second, the audio was really really bad. The loud music both at the beginning and the end were horrible songs that had nothing to do with Korra or DB. The way the flash jumped voices was horrible and, although I practically never feel this way, in this case I think even text would have been better than the audio you used.

Third, the animation was pretty choppy and bad. No, it wasn't newgrounds fault, cause the stuff that you tweened I could still tell was moving at 30 fps, but the stuff that you did frame by frame on looked really choppy. Maybe it was BECAUSE it was right there next to 30 fps stuff. In that way I think you shot yourself in the foot.

Lastly, the icing on the cake was the end, where you used a final text screen to talk down Dragon Ball. What was the point of THAT? We could already tell you like Korra more by the way the flash went, AND your author's comments, but you had to make sure you crammed it down our throats with a closing screen of text to tell us. A little redundant.

I'll give you a star for at least attempting to animate, but this flash is a stinker.

u mad, bro?
